The Channel Islands? They were incredible! Three days and nights of diving, a comfortable boat, excellent food, and great company. I did 8 dives out of a possible 12, including one night dive. Things seen: baby leopard sharks, a playful seal, several Garibaldi (bright orange fish), rockfish, octopus, two lobsters (tried to catch one of them, but dang, they can swim fast!), lots and lots (and lots) of sea urchins (don't let them poke you!) - the urchins were literally covering almost every surface underwater in places.

We were all very well-fed - breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all very impressive, and despite all the energy I used in diving, I probably still gained some weight on that trip!

Everyone on the boat was very friendly, and I will hopefully be seeing many of them again on future trips. Upcoming trips to choose from: Baja (Mexico), Bonaire (off the coast of Venezuela), and Thailand. So much to choose from! :-)
